La Storia di Pinocchio, il Burattino Animato is a web-based non linear narrative remixing the original Italian Fable of Le avventure di Pinocchio, written by Carlo Collodi. Like many Fables and Fairytales, the original story is often masked by new renditions and versions, such as Disney’s famous version of the Story of Pinocchio. This project intends to allude to Collodi’s original Italian Fable which is much more intense than the lighthearted Disney version. A minimal color palette was utilized, bringing in the more serious qualities of the original Italian story to life.
